Southern Cross Forests operations are subject to:

Certification to internationally recognised standards for Sustainable Forest Management (Australian Forestry Standard AS4708:2021) – AFS 685031 Certificate
Certification to internationally recognised environmental standards (Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2015)
Certification to internationally recognised workplace health and safety standards (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems ISO 45001:2018)

Copies of the AS4708-2021 external audit are available to stakeholders from our offices upon request.

Forest Management Plan

The intention of this Forest Management Plan is not to duplicate existing documents in the Forest Management System (FMS) but to provide an explanation as to how the system functions and the role of the individual components of the overall FMS.

Defined Forest Area

Under the definition outlined in the Australian Forestry Standard the defined forest area contains both productive and non-productive areas and includes features such as streamside reserves, areas of retained native vegetation and roads and infrastructure.
